If the nitrogen is bonded to hydrogen atoms as well, these are usually drawn as 'H'. For example, to draw methylamine, a primary amine, you would draw a 'N' connected to a 'CH3' (the methyl group) and two 'H's. For dimethylamine, a secondary amine, you would draw a 'N' connected to two 'CH3' groups and one 'H'. For trimethylamine, a tertiary amine, you would draw a 'N' connected to three 'CH3' groups.
