What is the angle of incidence?

The angle of incidence is the angle between the incident ray and the normal to the surface at the point of incidence.

In physics, particularly in the study of light and optics, the angle of incidence is a crucial concept. When a ray of light strikes a surface, it does so at a specific angle relative to an imaginary line called the normal. The normal is a line perpendicular to the surface at the point where the light ray hits.
